The Story? A dark, mysterious beer seemed like a good place to start for Halloween. Not much to tell on this one, other than it's a dark lager that didn't make it to general release, so if this sounds up your alley, better hop down and grab a pint!
The Beer? This dark one starts with a fluffy, light brown head atop a cloudy, full-flavored deep brown brew. The head fades fairly quickly. With a velvety, coating mouthfeel, roasted and toasty malt flavor augmented by hints of coffee bean and mild esters, and a residing dark bitterness, this lager has some real substance to it while still remaining drinkable.
