#195: Uinta Brewing Company » Yard Sale (Winter Lager)

A light-on-its-feet Winter...

The Brewery: Uinta Brewing Co. (Salt Lake City, UT)
The Brew:  Yard Sale (Winter Lager )
Availability:  Bottles, draft (Seasonal)
ABV: 4.0% // IBUs: 22
Rating: 8/10
Location: The Westy

The Story?  Continuing, with Friday's Lager theme, it's onto Uinta's winter offering, Yard Sale. First time around with this seasonal from one of my favorite breweries from 2013.

The Beer? Yard Sale starts with a dark, transparent ruby-brown body and fluffy white head. The nose is transparent and doesn't allude much to what may be in store.

An amber at it's core, this lager is mild and clean, with just a touch of spice. Smooth malts allude to honey, caramel and the faintest thought of vanilla.

Overall, very sesh for a winter. Solid, as anything from Uinta is, but more of a beer-and-do-stuff that what I was in the mood for at the moment.
